Meet Me:
I'm Karolyn a senior at the University of Northern Iowa, studying Public Relations, Marketing, and Journalism. My "marketing" background includes years and years of retail experience, in the form of.....shopping! Keeping up with current marketing campaigns, branding, and scruptiously watching how brands use social media sites has become my newest hobby.
I am enrolled in Digital Advertising this semester which requires I write, post, and use social media to promote my blog. Throughout the course of this semester I learned to create and implement a Google AdWords campaign, use Google Analytics to track user engagement and grow the following of my blog through promotion on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
Pursuing Pinterest's endless stream of pictures is my favorite pastime so I combined my two interests into one blog!
The Pin It Marketing blog focuses on how-to demonstrations, information on branding Pinterest boards, and videos, infographics, and pictures I find that I believe to be helpful to business looking to expand their number of followers and market segment on Pinterest.
